Hubbys 50th birthday card.

My husband has a classic VW beetle which he absolutely loves, so I felt it was appropriate to include on his 50th birthday card.  We are looking to do a hot air balloon ride when we move to Scotland soon to celebrate his birthday.  I have made the balloon using my silhouette cameo, which is my new favourite tool, I am having fun with it every day, and learning so much.

My sister saw something similar to this on Pinterest and asked me if I could make her something similar.  But, of course there was the "But must feature a great dane request".  So, i think I filled her brief, with the butterfly sitting on the great danes nose.

21st birthday card

Well, I have failed in my resolution to post every day, where does the time go.

I have just completed this birthday card for a friends daughter.  For a change I have used coloured pencils rather than my loved copics, quite happy with the result.

Not one card but 2 today.  This is not my normal style, but thought I would try something different for a friends birthday, pulled a few items out of one of my many bits and bobs drawers and made myself use what I had pulled out.

My christmas cards this year, had a bit of a theme, they were all different but a deer features in them all, in one way or another.

Husband's anniversary card

This is the anniversay card I did for my husband on our 5th wedding anniversary.  I love these 2 colours together, and don't seem to be able to make mens cards without using Kraft paper

Birthday card

It can't possibly be May since I last posted.  If it is what happened to the last 6 months.  My New Years resolution is to post more often, although I am busy project managing the renovation of our new house, which is 200 miles away from our current home so forgive me if I am absent for periods of time.  I am probably deciding on colours or carpets or something.

Anyway, this card has taken me about 2 nights to complete, it is a birthday card for my niece in New Zealand, I'm happy with the end result.
